If I return a vehicle early, will I receive a refund for the leftover days?

Unfortunately, no.  As mentioned in the terms and conditions in the contract,  there will be no refund given if the vehicle rented is returned earlier than the date specified  in the contract.

What do I need to rent a car?

Renting a car at Peace Rent a Car is relatively easy. All you need is

  • a valid debit/credit card for payment,
  • any identity card such as a passport,
  • the main driver’s credit or debit card with sufficient balance to pay for the car’s deposit,
  • a voucher that would show that you have paid for the car.

What is the minimum rental period for any car?

The minimum amount of time that you can rent a car for  is 10 hours (one day). The minimum cost of 10 hours would have to be paid.

How old do I have to be to rent a car?

In order to be eligible, you must be between the ages of 21 and 70.

Does the late return of the car come with an additional fee?

Yes, if the car is not returned within 30 minutes after the specified time, extra charges would apply. For each day the car is held beyond the specified rental period, there will be an additional fee. If you pay late, the late fee will be applied to the rent.

Are all fees included in the rental price?

Almost all of the fees are included in the rental price. Most of the insurance and tracker services are paid for. There are some additional charges that you will be informed about  before you rent a car. Read the T&C page for more information.

Is there a mileage limit?

Yes, the limit is 100 kilometers per day. Exceeding this limit  come with an extra charge of QR 5 to QR 25 per km per day depending upon the make and model of the car.

Can I drive a self-driven 4 x 4 car to the desert?

No, you are not allowed to do so for safety reasons.

Can I rent a car without a debit/credit card?

Yes, there are other payment methods available. Call us to discuss your options.
